The difference between anti-fouling membrane and ordinary membrane :
1. The salt content of the influent water is different. The anti-fouling membrane allows the salt content of the influent water to be in the range of 0-10000ppm, while the ordinary membrane allows the salt content of the influent water to only be in the range of 0-2000ppm. Undoubtedly, the salt content of the influent water of the anti-fouling membrane has a wider application range and can meet the requirements of more types of water quality and water treatment systems.
Second, the operating pressure requirements are different. The operating pressure of the anti-fouling membrane is lower than that of ordinary membrane elements, so that the anti-fouling membrane can reduce the frequency of cleaning. After choosing our anti-fouling membranes, many customers will find that compared with ordinary membranes, the use of anti-fouling membranes reduces cleaning costs and operating costs.
Third, the pH value is different. Anti-fouling membranes have a wider pH range, which is key to effective cleaning. Since the pH value of the cleaning solution is the key to removing contaminants in the membrane element, the wider the pH value range that the membrane element can withstand, the better the cleaning effect. The higher the cleaning efficiency, the longer the cleaning interval, the shorter the time required for each cleaning and the lower the cleaning cost.
Fourth, the price is different. The price of anti-fouling membranes is higher than that of ordinary membranes, but anti-fouling reverse osmosis membranes are more resistant to pollution, have longer cleaning and replacement cycles, and have lower application costs than ordinary reverse osmosis membranes. In the industrial wastewater treatment industry, the anti-fouling membrane is much more cost-effective than ordinary membranes, and is the most suitable choice.
